Aisha Jenkins

Aisha Jenkins is a Single Mother by Choice to two wonderful little girls. She brings a wealth of experience for moms at the early stages of trying through parenting school age children.

She has first-hand experience with:

IUI and IVF
Donor Conception
Donor Eggs
Secondary Infertility
Pregnancy Complications
Navigating the fertility industry as a WOC
Strategies for financing
Having conversations around this choice

These experiences have provided the necessary knowledge, tools and empathy to become a thought leader and a trusted guide for Black women and other BIPOC people pursuing this path.

Aisha has been a member of the Single Mother by Choice community for over a decade, and currently administers two Facebook communities of (combined) close to 20K people. Her journey to become an SMC (navigating fertility clinics, sperm banks, friends, and family), and courage to share both the joys and the pain, have continued to enrich the community at large.
